In large-scale supercomputers thousands of processors are connected together to their respective memory modules which controlled by several control units in parallel. Large data streams have be communicated between these and memories through interconnection networks. Multistage network (MIN) is an efficient way provide communications at a very reasonable cost. For such large systems MIN employed should highly reliable fast meet the desired specifications high speed switch fabrics. this paper two new architectures proposed named as fault-tolerant Gamma-Minus (FTGM-1 & FTGM-2) These multipath with totally disjoint paths fault tolerant. The routing algorithm for structures simple distance tag non-backtracking overcomes rerouting overheads hence improve communication delays. ensures multiple tolerance each stage including input output minimal horizontal source node destination node. validating results, comparison has been presented existing MINs designs. outperform terms reliability, up some extent cost well.

On Fault-tolerant Fft Butterfly Network Design

We present novel fault-tolerant methods for FFT processors. A reconfiguration mechanism is used to bypass the faulty cell. Special cell designs are presented which implement the reconfiguration algorithm. The reliability of the FFT system increases significantly, with about 16% and 25% hardware overhead for the bit-level and module-level designs, respectively.
